Our Sewer Services Educate You on How to Prevent a Wet Basement
A sump pump takes water that surrounds the foundation of your house and pumps it outside before it can get into your basement. If you aren’t sure whether you have a sump pump or not, there are a few ways you can tell. If your house is on a slab (no basement), it’s a safe bet you do not have one. If you have a basement or crawlspace, you can look around the exterior of your home for a pipe at least 1–1/4” in diameter that comes through the wall. This is the discharge pipe for your unit. The pump itself typically sits in a preformed hole or pit in the basement. They are common in homes with finished basements, but they can also be found in homes with unfinished basements that are prone to taking on water during heavy storms. They are electric or water powered. There are also battery backup sump pumps. These are a great option if you live in an area with frequent power outages.

Boost Living Space With Sump Pump Ejectors
A sewage ejector, or sewer ejector pump, is for homes that need more than just gravity to remove wastewater (“affectionately” known as black water) from homes to the outside main line. These sewer ejector pumps are typically used when a bathroom, laundry room or other plumbing fixture is located below the level of the main sewer/septic line that flows from the house. A sewage ejector pump is also used to get waste to a septic tank (these are often referred to as “septic ejector pumps”). Our services include sewer ejector pump maintenance, sewer ejector pump repair and sewer ejector pump replacement. We also offer sewer ejector pump installation if your home has an issue with the grading of the sewer.
