Rags to riches, here’s your chance to turn your cranky old system into a high-efficiency home comfort machine
Dwyer Plumbing wants to find the oldest furnace in Northern Virginia! Follow these steps for your chance to win:
1) Are you our neighbor?
Make sure your address is included in the cities listed below. Neighborhood participants only!
If your home is located in the following Northern Virginia neighborhoods, enter your furnace to win:
Alexandria, VA, Annandale, VA, Arlington, VA, Fairfax Station, VA, Burke, VA, Fairfax, VA, Falls Church, VA, Lorton, VA, Springfield, VA, Vienna, VA and McLean, VA (east of I-495).
2) How old are we talking?
Check out the date of your unit by locating the system’s manufacturing date. If you can’t find the date, a serial number will usually give you enough information to date the equipment. (The unit must have a confirmable age.)
3) Say cheese!
Submit a picture of your dated system and send in it to the Dwyer team. Give us some background and the story of your furnace, and your life as a northern Virginia neighbor.
4) Schedule an Inspection!
Schedule a heating inspection, and have a Dwyer HVAC technician check that the system is in good working condition.
5) Rags to riches!
We’ll keep track of the submissions and notify the lucky winner. Our Dwyer technicians will replace your old, old, old system with a brand new model.
We accept online submissions from October 1st through March 1st. Owner-occupied residential homes with furnace units originally installed as forced air natural gas furnace (no propane furnaces or boilers of any fuel source) are eligible. The furnace must be in good working condition and used as the primary source of heating the home. The home must be within 15 miles of Lorton, Virginia. The furnace must have a confirmable age, so one of our technicians will visit your home and confirm the age of the system by verifying the model number and serial number. The Grand Prize is a new furnace, installed for FREE, up to a value of $10,000. The value is calculated according to Dwyer’s Sales. The Grand Prize does not include additional modifications to the ductwork or repiping more than 10 feet of gas pipe. Any other modifications are the responsibility of the homeowner. The homeowner is responsible for the removal of hazardous materials; asbestos abatement is solely the responsibility of the homeowner and must be completed and verified before Dwyer can install the new system. You will receive updates about this contest, exclusive discounts and offers, and helpful information via email.
