The Dwyer family has been in the plumbing, heating, and air conditioning business since 1922. Since the start-up of the first family-owned and operated company that year, the Dwyer workforce has professionally served tens of thousands of residential and commercial customers in Northern Virginia, establishing a tradition of workforce excellence and earning customer trust in the process.

In 2002, Richard Dwyer re-established a plumbing and air conditioning and heating company in his father and grandfather’s tradition of providing outstanding craftsmanship and excellent customer service. Business operations were commenced on January 2, 2003.

Dwyer Plumbing Corp. is proudly independent of all other companies and their trade names; and is an accredited member of the Metropolitan Washington, D.C., Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating.

Meet Our Management and Office Staff

Dan CochranPresident, Plumbing Manager

Dan has been a plumber since 1979, and was an instructor for the FCPS apprenticeship program for 24 years. Formally manager of the plumbing department at Dwyer Service from 1991-2001, he became the owner of Dwyer Plumbing in 2002.

Jalil AminHVAC Manager

Jalil began working in the HVAC department at Dwyer Service in 1994, followed Dan to Dwyer Plumbing in 2003, and has been managing the HVAC department for us since 2011.
